Theres nothing wrong with it. I traded an old ford 302 and a T5 with a new centerforce dual friction clutch for it. The ford motor and trans was way more useful to the guy than this which is why we traded. The motor is in perfect condition.

Wait wait wait...soo basically what it comes down to, is I cant use a '00 block in my SS without swapping the crankshaft??

Okay if this is true, this really puts a monkey wrench in my plans...

ok another bump in the road for some. i took my new crank and block to my engine builder to have my crank ground and clearenced. well we ran into another problem if you put a crank out of a ls1, or ls6 in your motor you have to have the whole engine rebalnced because the crank in a ls1 is 17lbs lighter(its hollow) so the bob weight changed well i learned this after spending 350 to get my engine rebalnced pistons rods out. so when building one of these becareful of the bob weight factor lol it all keeps adding up. bye the way my car should be runnin bye this weekend hope to tell you all how it goes thanks matt
