adjusting adjustable roller rockers on LS1?
adjusting adjustable roller rockers on LS1? i know the way of adjusting roller rockers on SB chevy and LT1 :
spin the motor :
then for each cylinder :
1- when the exhaust valve starts to open adjust intake valve.
2- when the intake valve starts to close adjust exhaust valve.
is that way the same for LS1 engines?
also is that way is general for all 4-stroke engines?

If they are fixed fulcrum, the only adjustment is ensuring a correct wipe pattern and then lifter preload will be determined with the pushrod length. The Cranes are fully adjustable, and the pushrod length will determine both the wipe pattern and the preload.

i have another question : what best roller rockers for trickflow 13.5* LS1 heads? i got my heads from RayMac racing engines and they were handfinished by Chris Frank. i found in the trickflow heads sheets that they recommended using roller rockers with the trickflow heads.
i lean toward using the harland sharp non-adjustable roller rockers that is close to shaft mounted design rockers where each two rockers are tied togethor.

here is the deal with non adjustable rockers with new heads and gaskets. I would guess not all the specs are identical to factory with respect to correct pushrod length? I would never do it without using a adjustable pushrod to measure correct length. You have more leeway with adjustable rockers IMO

Verdad Gallardo Trick Flow heads need rollers, and the Harlands seem to work and the Yella Terra's have also been installed by a few. You will need to verify the wipe pattern on either of these rockers first and shim to get the wipe correct. Once you have done that, then measure for the pushrod noting that the Trick Flow heads will use longer pushrods due to the smaller valve angle. Get the stiffest (either thick wall or if they will fit 3/8") pushrods you can.
