Default Arp ballancer bolt

I know the stock one is 24mm, but whats the size on the longer arp bolt, i read somewhere it was bigger then stock does anyone know?

A 27mm, 12-point socket is required.

do you know where i might be able to find that, and even a 24 mm socket for that matter... i cant seem to find them. Also should i get the long size of the short one, i dont know what kindof room im going to be working with

Got them at hardware store and Napa. Its just a 12 pt socket.

ok i got that size... thank you.... also by any slim chance does anyone know someone whoos renting out or selling that jrp lifter holder tool? (the one that they use in ls1howto.com that slides in those 2 hiles into the block)

Just make your own. I bought a 3' piece of 5/16" wooden dowel for a buck, cut it in half, and rounded the ends going into the block over. Lubed it with oil and they worked just fine.

humm, 5/16?... what actually holds the end of the peice of wood up, like, i know where it goes through the block, but once its in, what holds it paralell to the cam?

Spin the cam to make sure your lifters are up before putting it in. Don't worry about it being held in there, it will be a snug fit, that's why you round the ends over, to help get it in.
