Don't forget that all this valve overlap also is bleeding off your dynamic compression. With a stock shortblock and stock combustion chamber volume, you don't want to loose too much compression. A little restraint on cam selection is a good thing... until you build that big cube, high compression, race motor...

not 100% true. the lower the icl the more dcr
so a 112+0 would have a lower dcr then a 110+1

Is there anyother suggestions on cams that is close to this one that might be a better choice? Better price or hp?
