Default Heads/Cam - Getting the ducks lined up.. Working on the "end all" thread.. ;)

Ok guys-

I am gearing up for my heads/cam swap..

Currently the mods are:
FTRA
Ported/Polished TB (bypass/bumpstop freebies)
LS6 Intake
Powerbond Pulley
Hooker Comp Long Tubes w/ ORYP and GMMG
Vig 2800 and I'll have my new 3.42 geared rear on..

I've got my heads and cam
PRC Stg 2.5 5.3L
TR224 112LSA...

I am planning on picking up the following:

42# Injectors - Thinkin' Racetronics
Ported LS6 Oil Pump
NGK TR-6s Plugs (still on the stockers @ 82K) and wires..
Gaskets - Cometic .040"s or GM MLS
Head Bolts - Still trying to decide between APR and GM..
LS7 Lifters
Pushrods w/ length finder..
LS2 Timing chain - Thinking about swapping out the whole kit.
Center Bolt Valve Covers

Random stuff:
Water Pump Gasket
Exhaust Gaskets
Timing cover gasket & seal
big breaker bar and 24MM socket - impact
Seals for steam tubes
3m scour pads and 100 to 150 grit sandpaper
Black RTV
Anti sieze compound
Thread lock
Lifter trays
Lots of rags
Wet and dry vac to pull coolant once the pump is off
Plastic ice scraper
Front engine seal
New header bolts
8mm allen wrench or socket for the coolant plug on Passenger side head..
Extra quart of oil for coating cam and priming lifters..

Would anyone care to help add anything to the list? See anything I over looked?

Thanks

Jeff

paulgto - I've never had it on a track.. I love the stall.. Can't wait to get the new rear under it though.

Da Swami - I have no idea, I just read a couple of threads recommending that.. I am researching that now, actually..

Anyway, it looks like a damn fine list and I'll have to save it for when I go heads/cam next summer!

How much were/are the lifter trays?

I have seen varying prices on them..

Much of that list, I am still composing and trying to decide whether or not to do it..

I actually made this thread to hopefully help myself and others out, so there could be one large thread with "everything."

I actually probably won't replace my lifter trays.. Just the lifters with LS7 lifters..
