Leave it to TSP to pile on the buillshit. Check out the first Patriot link. Is that a fair assesment? Should Patriot now come on here and post links to the breakage threads of TSP heads.

Vendors should keep out of threads were someone is looking for an honest un-biased opinion from end users.

Honestly Jason thats pathetic. Compare you best results with someones worst results and it was end user isssues in the first place. Nice job. That alone should tell the buyer who to go with. Deception and slight of hand is never a good way to sell.

You won't go wrong with either head, its the customer service that is the big difference.
Well that and the fact that you'll have to inspect and deburr the TSP head before you install it. Not sure about the Patriot, havent recieved a set new in the box yet but I have two sets of TSP heads. Both had to be inspected and cleaned, and I had to buy a thread chaser for the spark plug threads for the Terms to de-burr them.

Ok then I'll just leave the PRC results up for ya. Anyone who uses the dyno section will see the exact same results I found. All I did was link the INDEPENDENT results from the heads in question....

How is posting links to independent results from people all across the world questionable?

this is the kind of information im looking for! the best head for my application. are you numbers using the TSP stage 1 or 2 ls6 heads? which size valves?

thats a fair amount more costy than the patriot ls6 heads (if its stage 2). why is that?

would i be able to keep my 7.400 pushrods with any of these combos?

The stage 2.5 LS6 and 5.3 heads come w/ 2.04/1.57 stainless valves versus the stage 1 which has the stock LS1 valves. You already have valvesprings and I'm sure TSP will reduce the price of the stage 2.5 heads if you choose to buy them without springs(they did for me). Any of the combo's mentioned should allow the use of your current pushrods. The chamber size is the same(64cc) on the LS6 heads unless you ask for milling. The prices are not that different for assembled heads and if you get a deduction for re-using your valvesprings will probably be lower.

For the record I didn't have to deburr or do anything to my heads other than install my springs. They were ready to go right outta the box.

I like the patriot cylinder heads, thats what Im running, but to be honest if i had the money at the time I would have bought the trick flow 215's. I still made good power with the patriots 445rwhp and 420ft lbs isnt to bad Im happy with the results the patriots made.
