I am finally a proud new owner of a 98 Trans AM. I want to do a head and cam swap, but I don't know what cam I should go with. this will be a d/d, but I would love for it to be monster on the street, with a nice idle. Looking to push at least 400. So if anyone could give me some suggestions, it would be much appreciated. thanks

yes, not too be an *** but do a few searches. This honestly gets asked bare minimum every week so there is ample info on this site. Suggestion above is good but depends on goals/wants and your budget of coarse. With an auto you are limited on the size of the cam without gears/stall and you atleast need the supporting mods like exhaust/intake etc.
