I wouldn't use Mahle. Use something with the stronger alloy.

thats very close to the setup im running, except im using Eagle components and Stage 3 heads. Cam is a tad bigger also. I'm dynoing on thursday so it'll give you an idea of what to expect.

i have the mahle pistons,work great . unless he plans on having over 700 rw the mahles are more than adequate. they can handly probably around a 150- 200 shot reliably. just my $.02

Thank guys my car will be fisnished in like 12 hours should i run it in for a few days then dyno yune it ?

a few full throttle pulls on the dyno should help break it in.... also drive it on the street for a few full pulls as well thru 2 or 3 gears.... and let it cool... and do it all over again.

My car used to be just like yours these are my old spec Header Long System Borla Air system Ls6 intake Asp pully Gx5 custom cam Patriot Performance LS6 5.7L Stage II Head Assy
(2.02/1.60/59cc) SPEC Clutch Kit Stage 3+
Meziere Electric Water Pump Dyno tune Rwhp 467

I sold it to buy the 408 for a good price $3000
