Default Dyno #'s with C1 or CC 222/222?

Who has dyno numbers and/or scanned dyno sheets of the MTI C1 or Comp Cam 222/222? I am highly considering this cam (or the Speed Inc variant) on a 114 LSA. Thanks!

I dynoed 389.9 hp and 382 tq with mild local ported heads on a fresh shortblock not really broken in. the car makes peak tq at 4100 rpms and peak hp at 6000rpms and carries over 380 hp to 6700 rpms. This is a very mild tempered cam that pulls hard in every gear.Times are in sig

Thanks for the info, guys. Mrb...those number for east side performance are staggering. However, I will NEED to pass a sniffer test with my setup and therefore am already ruling out this cam they speak of.

Here ya go, there is a LOT more hammer cam info on my web page.

The dyno above is of two M6's and the A4 from below. These are using MTI stage2 LS1 heads...NOT LS6 heads.

Or here for more info...

Good luck.

Thanks a ton John! I know this cam is a real performer! Do most folks go with 918 springs? How is the cam on the valvetrain? I would guess that the dynos in your post were on a 112 LSA? Would the 114 LSA just broaden the power band a little? Sorry for the million questions...just doing some homework

Yea lots do. I prefer a double spring. But lots of folks get by fine with the 918's.
How is it on the valve train? So far it seems pretty good. There are LOTS of folks around these parts using that cam and have only seen one fella break a spring... and it was from a bad batch of 918's. CC replaced it for him.
Yes all those dynos are using Hammer cams on a 112 l/s. The 114 which is used by quite of few of my street racing buddies will raise the HP/tq peak out about 300 rpms.

Good luck with your cam install!

361hp/365tq w/stock heads LS1 intake and no underdrive pulley. Hp peaks at 5900 and holds 350hp to the 6600 rev limit.

I have the 918s (new batch), tons of passes and no problems.
