Default Valve replacement

Okay, one of my one rocker arms took a ****. The tip of the valve is now worn out. Would it be okay to just pull the head and replace the valve (stock) or is there machining involved?

you can do that but you will want to lap the new valve so it will seat good in the head. Just get some lapping compound and you can do it by hand. No big deal, done it many times
