I would go with the LS6 with your mods, then make the 90 one of your last mods.

I agree. I have done all my bolt ons and the fast 90 is going to be my last mod. Hopefully.

I dont think its really worth it unless you already have H/C and your just looking for a little extra kick.

Definitely stick with the LS6 intake for now and use the extra money for other mods.

I'm running 12.1 @ 118 thru the LS6 now, plenty good for me. I don't see a reason to spend 1500 to bust into the 11's (which if my 60 ft was down I would be anyway). As mentioned, if you need that extra kick....

they're always on sale here in the classifieds if you're REALLY interested. You'd be surprised how many people are getting rid of their FAST 90/90 setupss

With your mods, I'd do an LS6 intake. I'd switch from an LS6 to a FAST in a minute, shame I need a few more things before I can make the switch.

I was going to say FAST but your still almost stock (I looked at the wrong sig) I would at least get LT's and a cam before the FAST.

I know, I know. It's never ending. I should have said when you get set on a H/C combo, then step up.

The fast is an exponential mod. The more mods you do the more it will shine over the ls6. If you keep it stock or mostly stock go with the ls6, if you plan to go h/c go with the fast. Dont buy the ls6 just to swap it out for the fast, keep the stock intake if your just gonna do that

Only with the Fast 78mm intake. The Fast 90mm intake obviously requires a 90mm TB.

From the mods listed in your sig, I would have to say the ls6 intake would work fine for you. Once you get a cam and some heads, or are planning on getting them installed the same time as the intake, then I would get the FAST 90. Otherwise, you won't see much benefit from it IMO. I would save that money and put it towards the cam fund. $600-700 is about 1/2 or so what it takes to do a proper cam swap and a tune. That would be a heck of a lot more beneficial than just a plain ole FAST 90...

The Fast 90/90 is a great manifold but dont waste money on it until you have heads and a cam on the car. the ls6 manifold would give you 10-15hp over the current one and be more suited for your current mods

So - what is the difference in teh 78mm and 90mm besides the obvious size?

Does one make more power?

hell i went a head and got a fast 90 and nick williams new black 90mm TB... and had intake painted and looks sweet...

planing on a cam later down the road but never seen a bolt-on only with a 90/90 set up so figured id see what would happen even though everyone has said its not really going to pick up the power as if it had heads and a health cam

but havent put it on yet... manly waiting for the weather to get in 40'es again so the #'s will look best on the dyno when it gets re-tuned by nick williams
