Let me take a shot at this one before the more experienced cam designers chime.

The +3 indicates the position of the Intake Center Line relative to the figure given for LSA. 114 - 3 = 111 degrees from top dead center.

You got a cam that will peak at around 6200-6300 RPM (44* IVC) and carry that peak past that RPM with little drop-off (51* EVO). Overlap is fairly idle friendly at -1*.

All degrees listed are at .050.

Is very well matched to the properties of the intake and head runners, will light up with new heads. At high rpms will be quite the puller.

In my view a little soggy at the bottom rpms, not a large improvement over stock.

Alot of people get these cams with much tighter lsa. Necessitates more tuning effort due to the large overlap, but not impossible. This very well might be smog legal.

im not worried about the smog or it being legal im worried about the power and the hp gains.
will i feel the power on the third and fourth gear thats the most important question for me ?
my 1st and 2nd gear are pretty good but im worried abot the 3rd and 4th gear keeping in mind that i have an A4
thanx

The short answer is yes you will Miji_am, throw you a set of 3:42's Or 3:73's for more low end and you'll be pulling big end hard.

I'm no expert at all, but the +3 means there's 3* of advance ground into the cam and it is supposed to give you a little added low end. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
