High Pressure Valve Spring = less mileage?

Just replaced my 40,000 mile PRC dual springs with new PRC dual springs and noticed 1 mile less per gallon. Wondering if the new springs are responsible for lower miles per gallon.

probably not.
but a heavier foot could be.
