Default all blore and stroker question

for a all bore motor you just resleeve the stock ls1 block..right? and for a 382 stroker you use the same block and bore with a different crank right? when you resleeve the stock ls1 and make a allbore motor is a 383 or a 388...i guess it could be either depending on what the finishing bore is right? do i got the right understanding on all this?

yes I heard MTI has a 392 All bore. I also think the bigger bore helps torque & reduces piston travel so it revs quicker.

My 382 all bore revs like crazy. It's just a resleeved block with a 4.100" bore on a stock stroke. You can get an offset ground stock crank on a all bore and end up with a 392. The only issue is that the rods for a 392 are specific to that whereas rods for a 382 AB can be reused into a 422/427 Stroker.
