We just finished another Yella Terra rocker install, mine go on sometime this year
Anyway, I was wondering if Yella Terra sold adjustable studs/poly locks for these 1.7 LS1 rockers, providing the valve train geometry is correct, I don't see a reasons why they can't be mounted on studs using poly locks? Like the ones that are availible from SLP for there 1.8 rocker set-up, another idea was they can easily be used for solid cam set-ups and not having to use the washer shims provided in the kit in either instance.. any input or other ideas?
Joe.

I heard that adjustables (Yella Terra) aren't far off and will be priced just a little more than the current non-adjustables.

That's a great idea Joe. If they came out with a reasonably priced set of adjustable rockers I just might go solid soon...

You would have to set each pair exactly the same with the poly locks. I think this might be a little difficult.

Thats how you set adjustable rockers.... One at a time. Start the first with the valves both totally closed, find 0 lash, put in 1/2 or 5/8 or whatever of a turn you think is appropriate preload, rotate the crank 90 degrees and do the next cyl. in the firing order. No biggie....
The LT1 guys would be chuckling if they knew LS1 guys were fretting over adjustable rockers![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)

Who's fretting Chris?
Yella Terra's have two rockers on each shaft, my point is I dont think you could use poly locks on this setup, you'd have to put adjusters on the pushrod end like Jesel's and other adjustable shaft mount rockers.

I didn't know SLP made studs and poly locks for their 1.8 rockers.....I would guess its an 8mm stud that would replace the factory bolt correct?
