Default FAST 90 Track Gains?

Anyone have any factual track gains with the Fast 90?

Yeh, I mean, the SOTP is obviously there, so you'd think something would give on the track...

It's just tough to swallow $1,200 for an intake and a TB.. I could run a 100 shot of juice for that..

I hear ya. When the time comes, I just can't see myself paying the same price for a ported FAST setup as a nice plate system.

Its 20hp all of the time vs. 100-150hp just when you need it.

Yeh.. I'd be happy with a small 50/75 shot.. If I could find a nice spot to hide a small bottle, I don't see myself spraying a lot..

I just don't get it....nobody has a before and after E.T. comparison going from an LS6 intake to the FAST setup? I might just send my LS6 intake to LS2 Portworks for $180.

I'd be interested to know what kinda gains can be had out of a ported LS6..

Some guys are all about not porting it and others think it should be ported...

I suspect some of the reasons for the lack of response may be that most of those that have moved up to the FAST may have done so at the same time they made other changes. Therfore they would not have an apples to apples comparison. For what it is worth, if i was going to spend the money on a FAST set up (which I most likely will not), it would have to be a ported 90/90 setup. I just would not be able to justify the expense at all any other way, since i have heard of cases where a FAST 90/90 did not net any gains to speak of, but have never heard of a case where a ported one did not.

I think I am going to stick with the LS6 for now..

I am sure my gains from the heads/cam setup will be quite noticeable..

I am going to be swapping out quite a few things all at the same time..

Somebody, somewhere has to have an answer to this question! Not everyone who does heads and cam get's a FAST 90 at the same time! I understand more power=better E.T. but if the power/torque under the curve doesn't change much the E.T. might not change.

why not just buy both jiuce and fast?

i did the FAST90 along with so many other modds that i dont no the diffirent, as i look at it.. fast90 seemed to be the best intake, so i bougth that, it just a part the process of getting some serius hp's,

i know its expensive.. save longer, try to do this over here, where its double the price you pay

i can't tell u exactly based on weather conditions, but it was about 2 tenths ans 2-3 mph differnce between a ls6 intake and unported throttle body and a ported Fast 90

That's what I'm talking about! If I could drop 2 tenths I'd be VERY happy! That sounds pretty good to me.
