Default Tsp 224r Vs Tr224

AS the subject above:will the differance in lift matter?
Also looking at the 228R for daily driving and don't know if it will give me more power than the 224's?
Note that planning to get it with 114lsa

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the TSP 224R on the EXR profile which is the more aggressive ramp rate?? (As far as that goes)

The 228 should make a little more power. I'm completely happy with my 224 combo. I'm still running untuned without any issues. Have been like this for about 2 months daily driving. I need to get my intake on & my dyno tune sometime soon.

Correct, it uses XER lobes ans has alittle more lift. You cant go wrong with either. Im going to be getting the TSP 224r(112lsa) myself come spring along with some ls6 heads.

I just noticed in your sig your HP/TRQ numbers are great for a bolt on A4 car. You must have some loving dynos that side of the world.

They aren't that unbelievable. He has full exhaust, air intake, under drive pulley & tune. He is also on a stock stall which helps dyno numbers.

Hey let's talk about the cams no my numbers LOL.
Thanks guys but i know it's weared to see a bolt ons only giving that nice numbers especially if you make a run on the dyno here in the Middel East during summer time.

How about the differance in the perormance between the 224R and 228R?

Do yourself a favor and get the original tried to be copied TR224. Their lobes are proprietary and aren't duplicated by anyone but TR. To many people go with a non tr 224 cam and arent that happy. You wont see any difference between a 228 and TR224 unless Thunder Racing is making the 228.

I went with the TR224 mostl because I wanted the valvetrain to last longer. I didn't fgure the .580 would be good for much more then more stess on the springs.
