Default ls1 conrods

according to gm pr engine division they stated that the ls1 conrods are best gm ever produced on a mass production car.
now if thats the case why do many suspect that the rods will fail if pushed beyond 6500 rpm but yet i never had a pink lt1 rod fail at speeds up to 9000 rpm?
is there a balance issue with lsx engines beyond 6500 rpm
or is this rod bolt stretch method technique to bulls way of holding the rods together, personally me many i know arn't convinced.
i like pecisely 50 ft lbs lubed on 3/8 sps rod bolts with by the way on themsome ol school rods.(never once a failure even on 2 life cycles).
what are your thoughts and experiences with the lsx rods?
surely they can handle 6800 rpm all day no?
