5.3L head questions for my combo
if I have an slp (218/224 .555/.556 115+4) cam in my stock engine, then threw some Bo White ported 5.3L Heads (2.02 intake/stock exhaust valves, milled apporx .020) would I have any PTV issues??
What sized pushrods would i run??
Also, would 11:3 compression be okay with 91 octane gas (all we have here in Ca)

Where did you get your compression from??
I'm running Bo White 5.3 heads milled .018" with my 224/224 .581/.581 114 cam without any issues. I'm also runnign stock replacement FelPro head gaskets & using TR 7.400 chromemoly pushrods.
My compression is sitting right around 10.9-11.0:1 & I run pump gas also. Daily driven 300+ miles a week. I'm VERY happy with the work Bo did on my heads. The flow numbers were very nice to see for the money spent also.

how are you still running stock length pushrods??? I'm so lost when it comes to all this stuff...
