i have a question about the 5.3 heads a local performance shop says that he has out flowed and made more power with ported gm 5.3 heads than the 205 afrs. he has built many ls1 and ls2 cars and they make tons of power i just wanted some advice on which way to go, i want to make the most power possible for a forged out 346. then later i will throw some nitrous on it. but trying to decide on fast,lingenfelter,or bbk intake what cam and what ever else there is.

AFR 205cc , Not many if any will flow like these at a 205cc intake port . Most are 220+cc . You get what you pay for .

go 5.3 with the small valves on a 300-350ci engine
airspeed is everything if you prefer a small cubed torque monster.
