Ideas for removing harmonic balancer????
LOL
you ARE funny!
careful! i might just do that!

i had thought about FI, but i needed to upgrade many things.
i know, one of the guys at ls1gto.com said i was a "madman"! lol
no, really, when it was altogether, SOTP dyno was not totally happy, so went up to the big one. and, now, i am really happy. if it is not high 400rwhp, it is up there. it has power everywhere!
hardest part is getting the jaws to grab the tabs on the balancer and get tension on them so it doesnt fall off... just takes patience and a little time to get it situated
I use the standard one with arms that can be rotated for smaller pulleys and two different positioning holes...less than $12 at orileys
cant remember the exact size of the one I own, but this is an example for you
I've done dozens of cam installs and used this puller every time to remove the balancer

I also have a bolt with a smaler head than the normal crank bolt... that I put in the crank snout that I have drilled a small dimple in for the tip of the puller to push on...
