Default Pulling Motor

Just looking for some opinions, i have the motor down to bare block. at that point is it easier to just pull the motor out the top since theres nothing really in the way?

Ive got everything off in advance so i can quick throw in the 408 when it arrives. cant wait

also whats the correct way too hook a bare block to an engine hoist so i can pull it out?

Is there anything i have to look out for or be aware of in swapping everything from my ls1 over to the lq9??? Or does everything pretty much bolt right back up?

Thanks

I used a QTP lift plate for mine.

Everything will swap over from the LS1 to the LQ9 btw.
