Raspy exhaust note gone with higher CR I recently completed a H/C swap; my new heads give approximately 11.4 to 1 compression with the ported LS6 casting being shaved .055.
The most notable thing about the swap, besides the obvious power increase, is the lack of rasp in the exhaust note. I also think i gained some mileage....
So far, no knocking with 93 pump gas....
