rocker arm bolts...Need teflon tape?

Default rocker arm bolts...Need teflon tape?

do the rocker arm bolts need any kind of teflon tape or anyhting..just read somewhere where a car can burn oil if this is not done... just curious

Stock heads have blind holes and no sealant is required. A lot of ported heads break through the rocker arm bolt holes and therefore require sealant to keep the oil from entering the intake port. Depends on your heads.

I always use loctite on my rocker arm bolts.

I don't have stock heads though.

do you know if the TSP stage 2.5 5.3l heads do this?

yes they do,you need ARP THREAD SEALANT.
