Do i need to do the crank re-learn?

Default Do i need to do the crank re-learn?

I put the new motor in and it was starting but not really idleing unless there was gas being given to it.. now it wont start at all, just turns and backfires every second or two.. thx Jesse

Sounds like the plugs are fuel fouled at this point.

i suppose that could be it thats about the only thing i have not done... what does everyone think about the crank relearn?? completly new motor with forged internals.. thx Jesse o ya something else that was weird is that there is white smoke coming out of the pipes when its trying to be started... not a burning oil smell just gas..

You have to be able to rev it to 4k to do a relearn.

Any other idea guys why it won't turn over. Besides the plugs?

Just so we can check other things if the plugs don't fix the problem

wtf is Crank Re-Learn???????????? have to do with the computer and the crank sensor im assuming right?

I'm not real sure without researching again.. but that wasnt my problem.. put new plugs in and it fired up right off the bat.. surgin and buckin like hell but, running!!! lol its time for a tune.. thx everyone Jesse
