I have inherited a knocking sound that occurs when I apply some gas pedal. If I'm just cruising down the road at a constant speed (not giving it too much gas) I don't hear anything, but if I give it some gas to pass somebody or whatever it starts knocking. I'm thinking maybe a bad knock sensor ? Timing isssue ? I have not changed anything, it just started on its own. If you have advice/ideas please let me know.

i to have this problem i tore into my motor and found a bent valve ,i installed new heads comp lifters and pushrods new cam double roller chain, and i still have this noise im thinking maybe a fuel injector is weak possably

 

Yeah I was thinking maybe a fuel delivery problem also.....I dunno, it just showed up and I'm trying to decide what direction to start working towards fixing it.
