5.7 heads milles .025 Comp Cams XE-R 236/240 .602/.608 I have a set of 7.4" and a set of 7.35's. Which should I use. I have the 7.4's in now and my valve train is loud. Thanks in advance...

But are the 7.4's the correct legnth? I kind of figured it would be noisier. The dual spring don't help matters either...
I have been posting this same question. From what I have been reading ( and I may be wrong ), rotate the engine until the valve is at the half way point. The rocker tip should be in the center of the valve. If it is off eitherway, adjust pushrod length to correct it.

From: Texas, it's like your state, but better.
you're fine. w/ the cam, you're base circle is .030 smaller than stock. when you take .030 off the heads, it cancelles itself out and your p-rod geometry is pretty close to stock. diffrent cams have diffrent BS numbers but still you're fine w/ the 7.4's
if it were me, i'd take another .030 off the heads and use the 7.35's

I have another set of heads coming this fall and they will be milled down a good bit. 12.0:1 ratio with the stroker
