Thought i would finally come on here and let everyone know what fixed my low oil pressure issue so it doesnt happen to anyone else.
For those that dont remember my threads from a few weeks ago. I put together a forged 346 with single turbo in my 01 ws6. I was having a problem with oil pressure being at 45-50 cold which is good to all the way down to 25psi hot at idle and only 45psi at wot.
I tried many different oils and a new oil pressure switch. I finally decided to replace the ported ls6 with hv mellings. When i took the oil pump out i realized that one of the spacers for the dual chain can be installed backwards which would block half of the inlet oil passage on the pump. I ended up replacing the pump anyway because i had it out,but what fixed the issue was proper installation of the spacer including in the crane dual roller. So watch out when you install the spacer, can cause alot of stress later down the rode.
Thanks for all the help
