399rwhp @ 386rwtq with all the bolt ons minus an EWP thru open cutout.

Added a QTP catted Y to replace the ORY and went to 389rwhp @ 37? rwtq.

Stock 241 heads. Added a set of Patriot 5.3's and numbers are in sig..

Far from worthless. It's a damn fine combo!

I just installed the TR224/112lsa about 2 weeks ago and the cam is great imo. as soon as you hit 2200rpm in a 6 speed car with it floored, hold on! My set-up is in my sig. goin out to the track saturday to get some numbers.

I have Hedman Lt ,and ls6 intake, but have a 98(worst heads) when i put those numbers down, and plus stalled A4.So it was not a dyno queen, but it hauled ***. I now a ported fast 90/90 and TSP stage 2.5 5.3 heads and put down 417rwhp and 407 rwt. Not huge numbers compared to the 6speed guys, but for a stalled A4 small cam its fast!!! Great curve.
I see your in Dayton, well me too, actually Riverside to be exact. I dont know if your familiar with Precision Auto-sport,but you can go to their web site in the featured cars section and look for John Valks blue firebird and view the dyno sheet.Or just stop by I'm sure the guys will be more than happy to tell you about my set up. If you have any ? just Pm me and I'll help you out

It was pretty worthless in my car with stock heads. With bolt-ons, tune, stock 98 heads and a worn out LS1 it made 342/348. After some heads it picked up 58 RWHP and 32 RWTQ (Stage II 241's), I didn't have an LS6 intake on the car prior to the heads. 98 heads suck badly, worse than 99-00. Keeping in mind this was an auto car. I had the one on the 112.

Why dont you want to put a converter? Ive heard of some guys with a Tr224 and stock converter, but dont think it would be ideal. If I had to choose only one or the other I would go with a converter first over the Tr224. You would get more out of the converter than you would from a cam with no converter,or is it just sound and dyno numbers your after.Stock converter with cam would probly yield better dyno numbers, but the stalled car will be faster.I'm no expert, but Im pretty sure this is correct.Maybe someone else will chime in with an opinion on this.

Not into the stall because my car will never see the track. Its a pure street car.

90% of my racing is from a roll on the highway so being able to blast off the line at the track isnt a big deal for me.

I'm also looking at Vengeance VRX3 cam.

Ours did 400 rwhp on stock 241 heads. It's a 224 on a 112, fun to drive lots of low end torque.

the stall will be good for roll races too, it'll flash and you'll launch.
