Stock LS6 Heads and Cam
Where is the cheapest place to get stock (new) LS6 Heads and Cam? Summit sells the kit for ~$1850 (w/ gaskets and hardware).. anyone find a cheaper place than Summit?
Also, will '00 LS1 injectors be ok with LS6 heads/cam or do I need to go to a higher flowrate?
Thanks.

Ya I would check patriots price for the ls6 heads ported. And you can get good springs with it. Then get a good used cam. That would put you at about the price of summit but with up graded parts.

You can buy ported 243's for about $1000 or a little over. The Patriots also come with gold springs and titanium retainers. I am sure you could call them about unported stock castings also. Add in a CheaTR cam or similar and you would be cheaper than the Summit package, stockish idle and great power. Or you could find a used LS6 cam.

BTW- I have a set of Patriot LS6 heads, and they work great. Track times are good for a full weight car, the price was great, and he was a great guy to deal with.
