235/243 .646/.653 110LSA +4 advance
I have an 03 Z06 and saw this when I was searching through some threads. Will this cam work with stock LS6 heads w/o being flycut?
The car will be cam only for the time being with Kook LT's, ORX, intake, until I can get some heads. Most likely TSP Stage 3.
I also will be daily driving the car and it seems this cam could be a handful? What should I expect of the driveability? I'm fine with a little surge and warm up, just need it to go in traffic sometimes.
Thanks for the help, and obviously, Patrick your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure that Patrick gets pretty busy with PM's so I'll let him reply if he sees it.
Yes, the lifts seem very high, but to my understanding this is a "better" version of the MS4. I'm just trying to figure out how its gonna act in a street car, cause I have never seen anyone put this one in.

best advise i can give you with this profile here (besides being a little to much duration and over kill on the lift) is to widen the LDA. your tuner will thank you, and the motor/car will be happier to drive.

Thats an old spec'ed cam I think. You dont need that kind of lift unless you can get that amount of air in the first place, which you cant with an ls6 intake or even fast90 for that matter. A ported one nets more air but not enough to warrant that kind of lift.
Tony Mamo has covered this extensively.
That cam should be real peaky and nasty would be my guess, and isnt considered that big anymore. The current big dicks are in the 244 duration range. Even Patrick runs a 238

While that cam was a stellar performer, not everybody wants to set up their springs to handle this kind of lift. That's why I'm recommending a similar cam with XFI lobes:
236/242 .615/.612 110LSA +4
Huge area under the curve and is much happier with a drop in spring. Also much easier to tune than a T-Rex.
