Default Help!!!!!!

So i have this weird problem.. I let me car sit for 24 hours and start it, it will idle good, kill it and try and restart it again and it does not want to idle unless i keep the gas down a lil... it also seems to be misfiring at low rpms, give it any gas and it stops right away... and also the car will drive around good but, will not stay idleing when you come to a stop..the car has brand new wires and plugs... do yall think this could coil pack related.. the coils do have 150k+ miles on them.. also the car has a t-rex cam and TEA stage 1.5 heads that have been milled downed .030.. any suggestions??

Sounds like a classic T-rex driveability.... I assume its been tuned, but probably needs the lower rpm tables tweaked

Your lucky that cam idles at all without a tune. Get it tuned and it will fix your problem.

Mine had same issue. The desired idle needs to be raised a few hundred RPM's and a tune done.

The type of transmission has nothing to do with it. It may be easier to keep the car running with the M6 because you can easily manipulate the throttle while disengaging the clutch. But a cam of that size requires tuning to run properly, and not just at idle. You can potentially ruin your engine by driving untuned, and I'm sure your stock injectors are causing you to run lean. I wouldn't drive a heads and cam car until it had a good tune.
