Default Need Head Advice

I am 99% sure of the cam I am getting. It is a 232/236 595/598 112LSA
I am looking at all the head choices. I have considered porting/polishing my stockers, finding LS6 heads porting/polishing those or just getting some aftermarket LS6 style heads. I was planning on 2.05 and 1.57 valves with patriot dual valve springs I am looking for suggestions. Anyone have experience enough to know if I will run into PTV clearance issues?

I have the same cam with -2cc pistons, .040 gaskets, 2.05/1.57 valves unsunk, and ~58cc 5.3L heads. PTV is within acceptable ranges.

If i were you I would notch the pistons when you have the heads off and get a set of heads with nice small chambers, that will bump up your compression a good bit, which will help with low end TQ and makes it nicer to drive on the street.

The dual springs will last a long time too with a cam that size.

I guess I am asking what is the best "bang for the buck" head choice with the cam I have chosen.

The TSp heads are the best bang for the buck, they are pretty cheap and make good power

I would suggest buying or selecting a cylinder head and then designing a camshaft approiate to the head CI manifold header exhuast combo. Seems a bit backwards to me to choose a camshaft then try to build the rest of the engine around it ?

I originally chose this cam based on my original idea or porting/polishing my 853 heads. Now after figuring cost, etc I am wondering if there is an better route to take and I ma just looking for ideas.
