Head Bolts or Studs????
Yeah, not the cheapest in the world, but if you ever remove the heads again, they are worth their weight in gold considering the time savings from not cleaning out bolt holes. If you don't clean out a bolt hole well enough, you run the risk of snapping a bolt in the block, which will cost you well in excess of $230.
I'll put it this way.... if you are removing the heads to put on a performance set of heads, chances are you will remove them again in the future for one reason or another, and then the studs will be worth their wieght in gold.

Do you have to re-torque the studs after a few heat cycles like the bolts? I put studs in mine when I put it together. I need to replace a head gasket now, so I'll be removing my heads soon... I didn't re torque them when I put them on initially, so I wonder if that could have been a problem?
At first glance it might seem like a high price but think of it this way, The ARP bolt/studs can be used again and again but the factory head bolts at $12.00 per bolt X 20 comes out out to be around $240.00 and can be only used once. Sounds like the ARP are a good deal to me.

I wouldn't doubt it, everything has went up in price since the last time I did a head swap with stock head bolts.(5 years)
