Yes you can. That is all I have done so far. I still dont have a tune and have put 2000 miles on my car. It idles like a champ and all I did was bump the idle screw.

I have a 99 ta as well and when I installed mine I changed heads also...but my car already had a high idle...but I set my idle at about 900 with edit...and changed the rev limiter...and that's all I've done for tuning and it runs great....but I've heard that you could adjust the idle screw and it would be fine...

OK I will adjust that screw until I can get it tuned. Are any of the other asa camed cars running rich? I expect some more gains when it is properly tuned, corretct? Thanks

I am running right on as far as auto tap is concerned. But I know how it can be off reading the 02's. I expect gains with a tune for sure.

i had the asa cam in my car with no tuning for 500 miles. only to find out with stock 01 26lbs injectors i was running 12% lean through LS1edit. so i went out and upgraded to 30lbs, 1500 miles later i have to cracked pistons and the car only has 20,000 miles
. the only thing i can think of causing the problem is running it lean and burning the pistons. just some advise. i now 3 guys who never tune theres and run stock injectors with 6000+ miles already with no problem (lucky SOB's)
oh well i bet it sounds bad *** mine DID

It wasn't your injectors at fault. I run full H/C with stock fuel system. ANY time you modify the motor you will need to get tuned. 15 rwhp can be expected from tuning with just a cam install. I saw about 25 rwhp at my last tuning session after heads.
