which ever heads you chose, keep the intake runners small...to boost low and mid range power.
those 5.3s are aroudn 220cc...which could hurt you down low....NOT what you want on a street car.

I was going to do same thing and instead went with a Vengeance custom 226.228 over .580 lift. Going to have it fired up this weekend (untuned)... i decided to be different, and a bud had it in a c5 stock stall 2.73 rearend and it drove untuned..(the vengeance that is). Anything is going to need to be tuned, so dont be scared to go a hair bigger as long as yuo have all the bolt ons. Dont go over 230 though on the street unless your just crazy
