Default Anyone have a flycutting tool or know where to get it?

Does anyone have the tool setup to flycutt my pistons? Im in the Houston area and am going to be taking on this project sometime in november? I will rent or buy, doesnt really matter? Thanks

You can purchase all you need through ISKY cams.
We can set you up if you need.

All you need is a drill and some time...you buy the cutters according to the valve sizes and set up accordingly.

do u have 2 have a junk head or can u use ur heads will it mess them up ?

From what ive read you have to pull the valve guides in order to use the tool? So i think you need a junk head?

ok do u think it would just be better to buy piston that are made with valve releafs ?

I dont know about better, going that route would be fine, and would work like a charm. But I think its a less complicated and cheaper job just cutting reliefs than it is tearing down the engine to replace perfectly good pistons? But thats just me?

if you cut to deep, yes, but if everything is done right you should not sacrifice the integrity of the material or the piston

I have the exhaust valve isky cutter for sale just the head but it will save you $35 I used on 1 motor
