HELP! ok so i just picked up a 1998 corvette its got about 65K on it and i got a ticking sound coming from the engine. i think its a lifter issue becuase it doesn't sound fast enough to be piston slap. any ideas? is it true i have to take the heads off to replace lifters? theres also really high oil pressure something like 120 psi. could this be because of the ticking issue? i want to pick up a manual pressure guage this weekend incase its just the sending unit thats screwy. where can i hook it up to get a good reading? any help is good help guys. thanks.
