honestly resleeving the block really isn't that bad of an option...if you think about it you are getting a 4.125 bore block which is a bigger bore then a ls2 block has, i think people forget that if you wanted to build something like a 427 you would have to resleeve the ls2 block as well. As for the lsx block it is alot heavier and really would be overkill unless you are trying to build a record breaking car. also with resleeving you wouldn't have to mess with the harnesses and all that.
