Default tick tick lifters?

Hello everyone, i got an opinion from my freinds with 4th gens saying that these cars stock make a qiet-medium loudness of a tick like a lifter chatter is that true? it seems like it gets quieter as the car warms up but its still a little noticeable sorry to ask something that probably has been asked before... i know our cars arent exactly luxury cars either as far as quiet goes... thanks ahead of time

the damb sound freaks me out! it has all its power so i always thought nothing was wrong just wanted to tripple check with some fellow f body owners... as far as the oil goes i thought thinner was better for these cars cause of that oil passage between the heads? i just threw in 6 qts of mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic....
