ive got an 02 ws6 m6 im having a bit of a prob. out of my 241's and am looking for a set of 243's and a guy pm'd me about a set of 799's and i did a search and cant find a deff. answer on these heads .. Are they the same as 243's just cast different, or are there other diffrences. If they are i lil different will they still work and will i see any gains out of them at all?
what lift are the stock springs good for on these heads? i will be doing a cam also at time of install of heads

any help please so i can jump on the price if the heads are a go.

As far as I know, the 799's are the same as 243's.
They have come as standard equipment on many LS2 Corvettes.
They have replaced all of the old style heads. (so I am told)

well its down between two a 799 set w/ 15,000 miles on them and a set of 243 i just found $25 diff in the price not sure about specifics on the 243's . so whats the max lift on the stock springs on these heads ?

799 is the new 243. some 07 TBSS's actualy came with one 243 and one 799....

The 799's came out in 2005 on the HO 5.3 motors. They then came on the newer LS2 motors. Not sure what you found these for, but we can do new LS2 243 heads assembled for $425.00 per pair.
