ETP 240's and Comp Cam Pro Magnum rockers?
It seems that those of us with the ETP 240 heads dont have a lot of options as far as using aftermarket roller rockers. The Jesel Y2K are the only ones that work, but at a high cost. I am not saying that they aren't worth it, but they are just a bit over my budget right now.
This small local shop is "making" their own rocker arm kits, using Comp Cam parts. They are made out of chromoly steel, so they are a bit heavy. The guy came over, and mocked this kit on my heads, and it seemed to fit fine, much better than the ETP pedestals and stock rockers. We didn't have any pushrods to crank it over and see the swipe patter, but it seemed good from what we could see. What do you guys think? Do you forsee any issues with using this setup with ETP heads? The valve lash is adjustable as well, from the top.
