Default Which will gain the most? TR 227/224 112LSA or C2 cam?

I was looking at the TR 230/224 cam and was told that i would have to spin the motor to 6700rpms to get the full power range from this cam and i don't want to get any higher than 6400 rpms because of my 80K bottom end. The tech at Thunder suggested the 227/224 112LSA with mine being a A4 to get the power band down to 6400,where my B1 cam is and said i should see about a tenth gain in the 1/4 over my B1. I'm thinking i can make the TR 230 work but im not positive with mine being a A4 and shift points set at 6400 rpms.

What about the C2 cam from MTI? It looks like a cam i had picked out before but i don't see alot of talk about it? This is a future project for later in the year but i would like to get a cam set when i have the money to order,as long as another cam does not come along between now and then lol

They're all good cams and you can advance them a little and stay with the smaller LSA's to get the power band down. A lot of people have the C2; I think 224 duration cams are the best compromise for a daily driver. I picked the TR224 over the C2 because the extra lift of the C2 seemed excessive to me since I'll be staying with stock heads for quite a while and don't want to beat up my springs too bad.
