Default A Few Questions About My New Setup

Alright...well I've decided to do a H/C package. The only thing is I'm going to be using LS1 heads.

Comp Cams
LS1 3712R/3714R
intake - .562
exhaust - .566
lift - 271 275
113 centerline
duration 218 222

now here's my question....would these valves be good for my setup?
1.6 exhaust and 2.1 intake?

Manley Valves

part # 11365-8
part # 11350-8

Let me know your opinions....

2.1 intake valve is way to big for your 3.9 bore. Don't go bigger than a 2.05

what would be a disadvantage to breathing too much? What are some reasons for not going bigger? I know bigger isn't alway better...but why in this case?

I don't even think a 2.1 valve will fit a 3.90x bore. Even if it did you would have extreme valve shrouding issues and a heavier valve.
