What are you engine builders out there using? I was going to use some assembly lube made by Clevitte (the bearing company) to put my motor together. I read in that LS1 performance book that some/ most shops prefer motor oil instead of assembly lube because it could clog the oil pimp screen, but Ive never heard of it happening before.

I believe that most assembly lubes melt upon contact with motor oil. After a little research I decided to use a moly, lithium, graphite combo from CRC.

I was going to get that Redline lube first, but it had a warning about too much will cause problems or something....
I may get the Redline stuff because when I put it together, who knows when Ill start it
