LS6 valve length? As I understand it (I could be wrong 
) there is a difference in the valve length between the LS1 and the LS6 valves. I have a set of 243 castings but I am unsure whether they have the LS6 valves in them or not.............
Any help would be appreciated ( I don't want to buy new valves if I don't have to)

I don't know about the '01, but the '02-'04 Z06/LS6 valves are slightly taller to make up for the smaller base circle of the cam. The Z06/LS6 valves beginning in '02 are also lighter because the intakes are hollow stemmed and the exhaust valves are soidum-filled.
