Default Cam

244/248 - .612/.615 - 112 lsa

What kind of heads do I need to have that cam fit in a 347ci LS1 with -4cc reliefs.

Looks close to the spec of a VRX7 cam, I would think almost any head will "work" since the pistons have notches or reliefs in them, I would speak to cam grinder. Since I am an idiot when it comes to valve timing events.

Well let me clarify the ONLY way to know with out knowing the math is it use clay and ensure proper PTV clearance, but that would involve having to buy the heads, id speak to some one who knows the math.

I know that, I just want a rough estimate from someone with some experience.

That's a really big cam with a very late intake valve closing point. To best compliment the cam and those deep valve reliefs, you're going to want to run a head with a small 55cc chamber size. The head that flows the best in that small of a chamber size would be the ET Performance 215 head. It has the proper valve size and generous valve free drop in that small of a chamber size.

With a stock .054" head gasket, your static compression would be 11.36:1. With a thin .040" gasket, your compression would be 11.80:1. This is right where you want to be with a cam of this size. Low compression coupled with a late IVC will make this motor very lazy in the low and mid-range.
