Well Fly,somebody actually noticed that,so how did YOU notice it? so which scale factor would you like me to post 2 or 3 both still have 488
and still 484 on scale 5! But don't worry I will have some REAL500 rwhp on 5 shortly.
Just to let everyone know out there that there ARE different ways to scale dyno numbers on graphs.
The biggest thing is I don't get into all the dyno hype( gears, flywheel, driveshaft, bla bla bla) I let my motors speak for themselves at the track![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)
Im just testing my intake
I could say alot more, but its useless.

Hey FLY BY....
What?
You must be a Cartek fan
Who exactly would you like to see us smooth? From what I've been seeing...FMS is steadily raising the bar for a stock cubed bottom. Sure...we've all seen what all the big boy shops are doing....dyno tricks(believe it or not), scale factoring,....and yes...spikes. Not saying all shops are of that MO, but it is happening more often than many know. I've seen it.
If you'll look again, (IMHO)you'll see your "spike" as you have named it, is not at the peak power/RPM #. The motor peaked @ 7100....the "spike" is @ 7300. Hmmm....the 7100 "spike" looks very similar to the trajectory @ 5100, 5300 and 5600. Geuss everything beyond 5100 was a "spike" too....huh? ![Rolleyes](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/rolleyes.gif)
I'm no pro, but it looks valid/real to me. Even if the 7100 # is a spike, you're only talking ~5 rwhp which is still 487.5 on a stock cubed bottom
....which was the purpose of the post.
BTW....where is your graph![Icon Confused](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_confused.gif)
One thing to build the #, another thing for it to live beyond 3 pulls, and 3 passes. some of these other shops super cars fall apart after making the #![Cry](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_cry.gif)
All BS aside...I'm sure FMS will post some stellar track #'s
Keep up if ya can :p
BTW....Allan....
For christs sake guys, put the smoothing on 3 or 4, not ONE!
![Huh](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/huh.gif)

TOTAL BS, and if thats NOT off a spike, then I dont know what is

Who really cares? the guy obviously knows how to actually tune a car. for those of you that go by dyno numbers, these speak for themselves, and it is repeatedly backed up. But as Alan mentioned, the car runs the number and all the dyno numbers in the world dont make 2 cents diffrence when your car runs 10.0 @ 138.
all im saying is good grief, give credit where credit is due.

EVERY dyno should be taken with a grain of salt IMO.
Let the track #'s be the final judge. Trap speed should be a good indicator of what kind of power the car is making.

Someone will always try to downplay someone else's success.. For some reason I could not post earlier. I was getting a SQL error.. I want to know how many Solid Roller 346ci cars even dyno'ing 475rwhp? You get my point.. I would love to have this motor in my car for sure. I am sure it would pull 500rwhp in my car with my 10 bolt..

I wouldn't worry too much about what Fly By has to say. Everyone knows he is nothing more than a troll for a certain vendor (if not the owner himself) who is jealous of your accomplishment and has nothing good to say unless it comes out of his shop. Congrats Allan.
