Patriot's got a good reputation. I honestly don't see anything wrong with the package itself but couldn't give you a testimony. Although if i were you, i'd wait 'till Patriot comes out w/ their new cam (225/229 114LSA) and see if they would include the new grind w/ the package. Contact Gunnar and ask him. Hope this helps.

I have Patriot Performance Heads on my car... LS6 style, I've had nothing but good performance from them. Looks to be a good package. Keep us posted.

That package will probably put you right where you want my guess would be 430 range.

We just did a 226 w/stage 1 heads and it made 411 the car felt nice with the stage 2 you should see a bit more cant beat it for the price . And patriots customer service is great

I would wait for the new Patriot head and combo. Call Gunnar and talk to him. They have a great reputation for taking care of customers and are one of the more smartly priced companies out there.

We do have our new grinds in right now. GMHT has an article using a set of our stock valves 243's and this cam. We will be running a special on these very soon.

I would reqest the 59cc welded heads to bump up compression if you are gonna get these and run 040 cometic head gasket if you are not gonna run a big cam and worried about PTV clearance. Never dealt personally with patriot but the two I know who have think highly of their customer service and give kudos to Gunnar.

We no longer do the welded LS6 style heads. So to get a 59cc head, we would have to mill them which could result in PTV issues. With a 64cc head and .040" gasket, you will have aprrox. 10.7-10.8-1 compression. We have had good luck with both the Harland Sharp and Yella Terra rockers. We can include the hardened pushrods for $95.00. Don't forget we can also supply gaskets, JP billet timing chain sets, ARP bolts, everything you need in one stop. Check out our new website or give us a call.
