What cubic inch?

I have been hearing that you can only go as big as a 370ci if you have forced induction. I am confused by this. Can anyone tell me why this is, or is it bad information?

Bad info unless they are referring to bore size in a stock block.....

stock block, i've heard there is a problem with a stroke bigger than 4.000 only on blower/turbo motors.

There have been reports of durability issues with strokes longer than 4 inches on standard height blocks due to how far out of the bottom of the cylinder wall the piston is when at the bottom of the stroke. This allegedly causes a ring seal problem and piston durability issue that I could only assume would be exagerated of a F/I application. Having said that, there are also supposedly some newer piston rod combinations that minimize this problem.
